The Basic Version of Dynamic Dyno serves as a fully functional dyno and produces horsepower
and torque curves with the same accuracy as the Complete Version. Several important features
are not included in the Basic Version.

- No 0-60 mph or x-y mph time calculations
- No Acceleration Vs Time graph
- No Air Drag Vs Speed graph
- No multi-plot comparisons can be made. Only 1run can be viewed at a time.
- No Area Under Thrust Curve calculation. This calculation is the best way to
compare two vehicles or runs and determine which one is faster! The Complete
Version of Dynamic Dyno is the only dyno product on the market than can perform
this calculation.
- No data transfer cable is included. This cable is not needed if you will be recording
runs directly on a laptop. If you will be recording your runs on a voice or video
recorder then you will need either a phono to phono or rca to phono cable to
transfer you runs to a computer. You can purchase these cables separately from
our ordering page or find them at your local electronics store.
- Ratio Estimator and Bandpass Filter programs are not included. (These
programs are not necessary to generate horsepower and torque curves but can be
helpful in some cases. The ratio estimator program helps you to estimate your gear
and final drive ratios if you do not know them for your particular vehicle. The
bandpass filter program can help you filter your spark plug signal easier if your
vehicle produces noisy data. You can read more about these two programs

- No free version update will be mailed to you. Buyers of the full version will receive
by mail a free copy of the next version of the software.
